The
Type of SchoolA Private English School; Sherry's Kids English School is open late afternoon to evening, after regular school time. Students aged 10 to 18 come to study English from different schools in the city. There are eight classes according to the age plus a special class for adults.
School
History
It has been open since 1976. In addition to regular curriculums,
extra curriculums "International Education Projects" have been
performed since 2000. We have been realizing "Cross-cultural Study" by
means of ICT, linking with Britain, Turkey, Canada, USA, Egypt and
Australia through Video conferences and Email exchanges and other projects.
We
have been affiliated with "Global Leap" since 2000 and with "iEARN" since 2002.
International
Education Projects
Regular curriculums are assembled to develop all round skills
of Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening English.
Besides them, our school is distinguished by "International Education
Projects".
The projects consists of
the four:
1. Japanese Culture Research
2.
International Video Conference
3. International Teddy Bear Exchange
4. International Email Exchange
The first one is to "Know
Ourselves", which forms the base of the other three and supports them
as the foundation. We consider that knowing our own country or our own selves
is the first step of Globalization. The other three are Globally Collaborative
Projects.
